The U.S. House of Representatives unanimously approved a resolution expressing support for administration efforts to identify Holocaust-era assets and urging the restitution of individual and communal property. The resolution was introduced by Rep. Tom Lantos (D-Calif.), a Holocaust survivor, who said the United States “has set the example for other countries in dealing with the issue of Holocaust restitution.”
