The U.S. Supreme Court agreed to let new students participate in a Cleveland- area school vouchers program. In a 5-4 vote last Friday, the high court agreed to a request by the state of Ohio to put a hold on a federal judge’s order that had banned new participants in the program because he said it violates the constitutional separation between church and state. Under the program, students receive up to $2,500 in vouchers to attend the private or parochial school of their choice.
