The umbrella group of Jewish community relations groups called on the Bush administration to prevent Iran from obtaining nuclear weapons. In its resolution session in Washington Monday evening, the Jewish Council for Public Affairs also agreed to “affirm its historic support for the separation of church and state” and passed a resolution on the Israeli-Palestinian conflict that backed the White House’s decision to send $350 million to the Palestinians.
