The four Jewish labourers who were arrested in the unemployed riots which took place yesterday in the Jewish colony Hederah, have been sent to prison for seven days.
Mr. Harcavy, the Haifa magistrate who tried them, took occasion at the same time to censure the police for using unnecessary brutality in dispersing the demonstrators.
Dr. Werner Senator, the Treasurer of the Jewish Agency Executive, and Mr. Remez, one of the leaders of the Palestine Jewish Labour Federation, have gone to Hederah to look into the situation.
