The Union of Italian Jewish Communities has disavowed any connection with ex-Gen. Giorgio Liuzzi who has announced his support of the neo-Fascist Italian Social Movement (MSI) Party in the current election campaign. The Italian press has made much of the fact that Liuzzi is Jewish. A statement issued Wednesday by the Union said Liuzzi does not in any way or under any title represent any organ or body of Italian Jewry.
