The United Palestine Appeal Campaign in this city for $20,000 will be launched at a banquet tonight at which Judge Bernard A. Rosenblatt will be the principal speaker.
The committee is headed by Louis Oransky, the state chairman of the Iowa Appeal, and L. Marcus the Des Moines city chairman.
Under the direction of Mr. Oransky and Samuel Lapidus, a member of the New York Appeal staff, campaigns have been organized in the following towns in Iowa; Centerville, Waterloo, Boone, Fort Dodge, Mason City and Marshalltown. About $10,000 has thus far been raised in the small communities throughout the state.
