The West Bank military government has been thanked by leaders of Christian communities for the maintenance of order in Bethlehem during the Yule celebrations when thousands of pilgrims came to the city, a spokesman for Brig. Gen. Rafael Vardi, West Bank commanding officer, said today. The thanks were expressed in letters to Gen. Vardi.
