The wife of a kidnapped Israeli soldier pleaded for his return. Speaking Thursday at the Israeli Consulate in New York, Karnit Goldwasser called her husband, Ehud, “the love of my life.” The couple married less than a year ago after dating for nine years. Goldwasser said her husband, a 31-year-old environmental engineer, was “a husband, a student. He was not a soldier.” She added, “I know that he’s alive. I can feel it in my heart.”
