There currently are no plans for President Bush to meet with Palestinian Authority President Yasser Arafat later this month in New York, National Security Adviser Condoleezza Rice said. The New York Times had reported that the meeting would be held on the sidelines of a meeting of the U.N. General Assembly if Israel and the Palestinians hold truce talks that yield practical results.
