The third session of the American Jewish Conference will open in Cleveland on Sunday, Feb. 17, it was announced here today.
The announcement said that the conference, which will meet in the Hotel Cleveland, will probably continue through Feb. 19. Originally, it had been planned to hold the next session in the Spring, but in view of the rapid acceleration of world events affecting Jews, the executive committee decided to advance the date of the meeting. The last session was held in Pittsburgh, in Dec. 1944.
