Thirty members of the Central Conference of American Rabbis, the organization representing the Reform branch of Judaism, departed last night from New York by plane for a five-week tour of Israel. Headed by Rabbi Philip S. Bernstein of Rochester, N.Y. , president of the Conference, the group will make an intensive study of Israel and it institutions.
