Thirty young Americans, comprising the first General Zionist group from the United States to settle in Israel, joined with seventy Israeli youths today in founding a new agricultural colony near Nazareth, as yet unnamed, the Jewish Agency announced here.
The American settlers belong to the General Zionist pioneer training group, composed of members of Young Judea, Junior Hadassah and Masada. Thirty more young people of the same group are presently in training at the Hechalutz farm at Wappinger Falls, N.Y., preparatory to joining the group in Israel.
