Among the 100,000 Hungarian war prisoners who are scheduled to be repatriated from the USSR by September are several thousand former slave laborers, most of whom are Jews, the Ministry of Welfare announced.
The first batch is expected to arrive shortly and Jewish groups have arranged to receive them. They will be supported by the Hungarian Jewish Relief Committee until they can be rehabilitated and work found for them.
