Threats of reprisals against the Jews if any harm befalls National Socialist leaders, especially their chieftain, Adolf Hitler, were made today by Hitlerite spokesmen in connection with the discovery of a plot to assassinate Hitlerite leaders in Pirmasens and Kaiserslautern, towns in the province of Pfalz.

Although it has been established that the plot was laid by Communists, the National Socialists maintain that the Communists served as “instruments in the hands of the Jews.”
