A national campaign has been undertaken by the three branches of Judaism in America to provide a maximum number of scholarships for Israeli and American students at the Hebrew University in Jerusalem, it was announced here by Samuel Rothberg, national chairman of the Mt. Scopus scholarship program. Nearly 1,000 American students have enrolled at Hebrew University for the 1968-69 academic year starting next October. They will constitute more than half of the foreign student body which is expected to total 1,800 next autumn.
