A three-day national convention of the Histadrut Ivrit, organization to promote the Hebrew language in the United States, opened tonight with delegates from all parts of the country attending.
The convention will discuss problems concerning the spreading of Hebrew culture among American Jewish youth, as well as the progress achieved in teaching Hebrew in a number of public high schools. It will be addressed by American Hebrew scholars and greeted by representatives from Israel.
