Three faiths will join again for the second annual state fair services on September 2, with more than 10,000 persons expected to attend. Details of the services, which will be staged in the coliseum and which will be attended by Protestants, Catholics and Jews, were outlined today by the Rev. S. Burman Long, chairman of the committee.
Speakers will be Dr. Elias Margolus of Mount Vernon, president of the American Rabbinical assembly; the Rev. David F. Cunningham, secretary to Bishop John A. Duffy of the Roman Catholic Diocese of Syracuse; and Dr. Bernard C. Clausen of the First Baptist Church of Pittsburgh.
Rabbi Jesse Bienenfeld of Temple Adath Yeshurun, a member of the committee, will present the prayer.
