The Israelis notified the MAC that the three were not soldiers, although they had been carrying weapons. Negotiations have begun for the return of the three men, who accidentally crossed the Lebanese frontier.
Two British RAF men were arrested by Israel military police today when they crossed into Israel from Jordan. The Britons are stationed at the airbase at Akaba, in Jordan.
A Jewish woman was wounded and several cows were stolen by Arab infiltrators from Jordan who raided the Israel settlement of Eshtael in the Jerusalem Corridor, early this morning, a military spokesman announced today. Israel has filed a complaint on the incident with the Jordan-Israel Mixed Armistice Commission.
