Three Israeli soldiers were wounded, one seriously, last night by sporadic Egyptian machine gun and mortar fire in the southern sector of the Suez Canal zone. A military spokesman said the situation along the canal was relatively quiet last night except for an occasional volley by Egyptian machine-gunners and one or two mortar shells fired at long intervals.
