Three Jewish aldermen will take their seats in the new Montreal City Council, results of the electon held yesterday show.
Joseph Schubert, Louis Rubenstein and Julius Levine were elected. The three formerly sat as aldermen in the Council. Lyon Jacobs and Bernard Schwartz were defeated. The new aldermen will be sworn in this week.
