Three Likud Party ministers quit Israel’s government. Thursday’s walkout, which comes into effect within 48 hours, was done under the orders of Likud chief Benjamin Netanyahu, who had delayed the move out of respect for ailing Prime Minister Ariel Sharon. But one of the four Likud Cabinet members, Foreign Minister Silvan Shalom, said he was holding off on resigning until Friday.
