Three more Jewish cemetery desecrations occurred in Germany this week. At Ribnitz, in Mecklenburg, two grammar-school students belonging to a Hitlerist family painted the swastika symbol and the “Perish Judea” inscription on all the gravestones in the local Jewish cemetery and smeared dung all over the cemetery. The Principal of the school compelled the two boys to go back to the cemetery and remove every sign of paint and filth.
The second case occurred at Obercewisheim, where a large number of gravestones in the 500 year old Jewish cemetery have been smashed, and the third case was at Hirschaid, near Buttenheim, in Bavaria, where 67 gravestones have been smashed.
