Three Negev Beduin, belonging to the Serahin tribe connected with the murder of an Israel Army officer last week, were killed by an Israel patrol yesterday at the Sinai border, it was reported here today.
The Beduin were killed in an exchange of fire after attacking an Israel unit investigating the officer’s murder in the western Negev. It is understood that the Serahin tribe was responsible for recent incidents in the Negev near the Nitzana area and that most fedayeen active in the region were members of the tribe.
