Aminner fight in the Jewish community of Bavaria, which has been going on for three years, was finally resolved by court action here today when the Munich District Court issued an order prohibiting three local Jews from styling themselves as “leaders” of the community.
The three are Max Bachmann, Dr. Aaron Ohrenstein and Siegfried Seidowsky. They complained to the court that community elections had not been conducted in accordance with the community’s charter. The court ruled in favor of the officially recognized Association of Israelitic Communities of Bavaria, and recognized Chaim Schwerdt as the legally elected head of the community.
