The Wailing Wall was thronged with thousands of Jews today, who came to pray on Tisha B’Av, day of mourning for the destruction of The Temple of which the wall is a relic.
The event passed peacefully. It was the sixth anniversary of the beginning of the bloody anti-Jewish riots that swept Palestine in 1929.
