A Sefer Torah will be presented to the Patchogue Jewish Center Sunday, at 3 P. M. in honor of Daniel Davidow, at which time the Siyum Hasefer will take place.
Mr. Davidow is seventy years old and is one of the founders of the first Patchogue Hebrew Congregation and was instrumental in the building of the present Jewish Center. He has been twice president of the congregation and for eighteen years was secretary and for the past two years its treasurer. He has been secretary of the Chevra Kadisha since 1906.
L. Cantor will preside on the occasion and the chief address will be delivered by Rabbi Harry E. Schwartz of the Jewish Center.
Following the Siyum, Mr. and Mrs. Davidow will celebrate their fiftieth wedding anniversary.
