The seventh annual Allied Jewish Campaign of the Jewish Welfare Federation will take the form this year of an Emergency Drive to be launched June 4, according to an announcement by Henry Wineman, chairman of the Jewish Welfare Federation.
The Campaign is planned to finance the immediate local relief needs of the Jewish community. The following beneficiaries are being submitted to the Budget Committee: Jewish Unemployment Emergency Council of the Jewish Social Service Bureau. Jewish Old Folk’s Home, House of Shelter, Hebrew Free Loan Association, United Hebrew Schools, hospitalization fund of the North End Clinic, and the Jewish Center.
