The Jewish Education Association will celebrate the 2,100th anniversary of the Chanukah Festival with a dinner at the Hotel Astor Dec. 22, it was decided at a meeting tonight of the society’s board of directors. A resolution adopted by the board calls attention to the “millenial anniversary” and urges Jews throughout the world to observe the festival which commemorates the victory in 165 B.C. of Judas Maccabeus over the Syrian Emperor Antiochus IV.
