A workman who went to Deutscher Beobachter headquarters yesterday to collect a bill found conditions there bewildering and asked one of the Nazi guards outside the newspaper’s offices what had happened.
“If you want to find out what’s going on here, get copies of The Jewish Daily Bulletin since last Friday,” the Nazi stalwart whispered confidingly.
The workman followed his advice.
