Tom Dine, head of the San Francisco-area Jewish federation, announced his resignation effective June 30. Dine is leaving after 20 months at the federation. “On behalf of the Jewish Community Federation of San Francisco, the Peninsula, Marin and Sonoma Counties, I want to thank Tom for his outstanding leadership and substantial contributions to the federation,” federation board president John Pritzker said. Institution-wide strategic initiatives and the annual campaign will continue as planned. Dine previously was executive director of the American Israel Public Affairs Committee and director of Radio Free Europe/Radio Liberty in Prague.
