A special inscribed Torah was presented today to Moshe Shapiro, Minister of Religious Affairs, to mark his recovery from wounds suffered last October when Moshe Douek, young Iraqi immigrant, hurled a hand grenade in the Knesset. The presentation ceremony was attended by Chief Rabbis Isaac Halevi Herzog, Yitzhak Nissim, Knesset Speaker Joseph Sprinzak and other lay and religious leaders at the Minister’s home in Jerusalem.
