A probate of the will of Mrs. Annie Robinson of Toronto, who died last January, disclosed an estate of $1,540,675 to be distributed among nine Jewish religious, educational and charitable institutions.
The beneficiaries are the Associated Hebrew Schools of Toronto, Etz Chaim Schools, Ner Israel Yeshiva College of Toronto, new Mount Sinai Hospital, Jewish Home for the Aged, Yeshiva Hadarom Rechovot in Israel, Shomrei Shabbes Synagogue, United Jewish Welfare Fund of Toronto and Youth Aliyah.
The will provided that the income from the estate is to be distributed to the institutions for ten years at which time they will share equally in the estate. Mrs. Robinson was the widow of the late Elias Robinson, who was born here about 90 years ago. Her father was Abraham Franklin, a jeweler, who died in 1905.
