American-manufactured toys with Nazi emblems are being sold in West Germany and are bringing complaints, it was revealed here yesterday.
When a Socialist deputy, Emmy Mayer-Laule complained in the Bonn Parliament over the sale in this city of toy aircraft bearing Nazi swastika markings. State Secretary Ludger Westrick announced on behalf of the Ministry for Economics that the toys were made in the United States. He further stated that he had begun discussions with the U.S. Embassy here over the sale of the Nazi toys.
