The American Trade Union Council for Histadrut concluded today a three-day conference at Unity House, Pennsylvania, adopting a one million dollar emergency quota to help tide over Histadrut, the Israel labor federation, during the current Middle East crisis. The conference, attended by 250 trade union leaders, adopted a resolution expressing deep concern about “the continuing crisis in the Middle East brought about by unrelieved threats to the existence of the State of Israel.”
