The United Nations General Assembly was urged today by 500 delegates attending the Jewish Labor Committee’s National Trade Union Conference on Human Rights here to “investigate conditions under which Jews in the Soviet Union are forced to live.” The resolution, passed unanimously, called on Secretary General U Thart to place the question of liquidation of Jewish cultural religious commual life in the Soviet Union on the agenda when that body meets tomorrow in New York City.
