The coordination committee of the International Federation of Trade Unions and the International Trade Secretariats in Paris went on record today as protesting “most energetically” against the redoubled violence of the Nazis in Germany and “this system of shame and blood.”
After a study of the situation, the committee announced it had taken measures which seemed necessary. “In view of the redoubled violence of the Nazis in Germany, expressed in a new wave of terror, even while Hitler, for his international political ends, is appearing in a pacific guise which deceives no one, the committee protests most energetically against this system of shame and blood,” it was declared.
