New restrictions of traffic in Israel designed to save fuel, will revolutionize the theatre-going habits of Tel Aviv’s population. One of the government’s fuel-saving devices is the curtailment of bus schedules and the last nightly trips have been set for an hour earlier.

Consequently, theatres, movies and concerts will have to start one hour earlier each evening-practically before sunset-so that their audiences may get out in time to catch the last buses home.
