Morris C. Troper, executive vice-chairman of the Greater New York campaign of the Joint Distribution Committee, was elected president of the New York State Society of C.P.A. ‘s at the fortieth annual meeting of the society last night at the Waldorf-Astoria Hotel.
Mr. Troper has been connected with Jewish philanthropic organizations for 20 years. He served as comptroller of the Allied Jewish Campaign in 1930 and the United Jewish Appeal in 1934-5, besides his present connection with the J.D.C.
