President Truman tonight lashed out again at the 80th Congress for passing a “discriminatory” displaced persons bill that bars many Jews and Catholics from entering this country.
Earlier during the day, at South Bend, Indiana, the President said that the bill was the handiwork of men “who don’t want homeless Europeans of certain religions” to begin life anew in this country.
