The newly-formed Jewish Community Council of Tulsa, Oklahoma, has become the 150th member of the Council of Jewish Federations and Welfare Funds, H.L. Lurie, executive director of the council, announced today. The year 1938 saw the most rapid growth in the history of the council, with the affiliation of 40 local agencies in 30 cities, Mr. Lurie said. The council now represents the federations, welfare funds and community councils of 122 cities in the United States and Canada.
