The official Turkish news agency today denied press reports that a Turkish Legion is being formed to aid the Arabs in their fight against the Jews in Palestine. If such a military unit is organized on a voluntary basis, the announcement said, it will have no legal status whatever. The Turkish Government, the news agency said, intends to maintain a strictly neutral policy in the Palestine dispute.
