The Palestine problem must be solved “with justice and according to United Nations resolutions,” and Communist subversion in the Middle East must be combatted if peace and stability are to be restored to the region, Turkish Foreign Minister Fatin Rustu Zorlu told newsmen here this week-end before emplaning for the NATO conference in Paris.
It is obvious, Mr. Zorlu said, that these “two dangers now threatening the Middle East are directly and indirectly linked to each other.” He expected the issue to be discussed at the parley.
(In Ottawa, Prime Minister John Diefenbaker told Parliament yesterday that the Arab-Israel dispute will be examined at the NATO summit meeting.)
