Jews from all parts of Turkey have again begun to flock to Istanbul following the lifting of a ban on their migration to Israel.
Since the ban was raised hundreds of Jews have left Istanbul daily, and most of the estimated 1,000 persons who had been issued visas and then forbidden to leave have new emigrated. Another 1,000 have applied for visa? in the last five days and It is expected that by the end of the month some 3,000 Jews will be on their way to the Jewish state or already there.
