Hussein Yaltchin, Turkish representative on the United Nations Palestine Conciliation Commission, arrived here from Jerusalem today and immediately went into conference with Turkish President Ismet Inonu.
At a press conference later, Yaltchin declared that he is optimistic concerning the possibility of a successful solution of the Palestine question. He stated that the All-Arab conference scheduled to be held in Beirut March 21 will examine the situation of the Palestine Arab refugees as well as the problem of Arab-Israeli relations. “It is possible,” he said, “that this conference will prepare the way for a general peace conference under the sponsorship of the Conciliation Commission.
He reported that the Arab states, as well as Israel, are suffering from the unstable conditions which exist as a result of the war, and that a favorable atmosphere for peace exists.
