The 25th anniversary of the founding of the Corporation Commercial Israelita in Argentina, which has played an important role in the economic development of the Jove of this country, was celebrated here today at a dinner attended by more than l,500 persons.
The cooperative was organized to aid East European immigrants arriving in Argentina after the first World War who were trying to establish themselves as peddlers. Today it has 1,200 members. In the 25 years of its existence, the enterprise has done more than $21,000,000 worth of business.
