A Petach Tikvah woman and a boy from Kfar Saba were slightly injured when a hand grenade exploded in the rear of a bus as it entered the terminal here this morning. Both were hospitalized. Arab passengers on the bus were detained by police for questioning. A police detachment was sent to the Arab village of Tira where the bus had stopped to conduct an investigation. The vehicle was damaged. The bus served the route from Tira to Tel Aviv with stops at Kfar Saba, Petach Tikvah and Ramat Gan. Last month an explosion heavily damaged a bus in Haifa moments after its passengers and driver evacuated the vehicle when they spotted a suspicious looking parcel. Explosives that failed to detonate were found the same day on an empty bus in Haifa. Both busses had stopped at Arab villages in Western Galilee.
