Two Israeli soccer referees were jailed for match fixing. Tel Aviv District Court sentenced Meir Amsili and Uri Biton to six months in prison Monday for taking bribes to sway the outcome of second-division matches in coordination with betting rings. The two referees were among 13 soccer officials investigated after sports officials received complaints about their rulings during games.
