Two Jewish liturgical programs devoted to the music of Issachar Miron will be re-broadcast on WQXR-FM on Nov. 26 and Dec. 3 from 1:30-2:00 PM. According to the radio station, the re-broadcast is due to the “unusually heavy listener response” to the first “On Wings of Song” broadcast. Miron, the internationally famous composer, was the Music Deputy Director of Israel and Officer-in-Chief of Art and Music of the Israeli Army during the War of Liberation.
