Two Jewish men were arrested in connection with an attack on Palestinian farmers that was captured on videotape.
The two residents of the West Bank community of Susya, one a minor, were taken in for questioning by the Hebron District Police.
The arrests follow last week’s release of a video by the Btselem human rights organization showing the beating of a Palestinian farmer and his elderly aunt and uncle by four attackers who the organization claimed were Jewish settlers.
Undercover police officers investigated the assault. They originally expressed concern that the video was staged.
Btselem has given Palestinians 100 video cameras in the last year in an attempt to document these kind of attacks and human rights abuses.
