Two new Jewish deaths, resulting from raids upon their homes by “unidentified persons” were reported here today. Dairyman Kassel, 59, was shot as he attempted to escape through the window of his home when it was visited by a Nazi raiding party. The death was attributed to motives of “personal vengeance,” and the raiders were reported as “unknown.” Salomon Rosenstauch, 58, whose home was also invaded, died of heart attack when the Nazis pointed a pistol at him.
